After showing the first method to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 untethered using a jailbreak tweak from Cydia, now we’re showing how to do an iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak directly from your PC or Mac using Redsn0w 0.9.10b1 brought to you by the iPhone Dev Team.

 
iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Supported Devices

• iPhone 4 (GSM – CDMA)

Notes:

• If you have one of those devices and are not on 5.0.1 yet, update now!  The SHSH window is still open for 5.0.1  If you unlock via ultrasn0w or gevey, make sure you only get to 5.0.1 via a custom IPSW!    Once you’re at 5.0.1, use the latest redsn0w 0.9.10 to both jailbreak and untether.
• If you’re already at 5.0.1 with a tethered jailbreak, you have two choices: either run redsn0w 0.9.10 over your current jailbreak (deselect “Install Cydia” if you do that), or install the Cydia package prepared by the chronic devteam.  The patches are the same regardless of which you choose.
• Some of you are using a hybrid 5.0/5.0.1 configuration.  If so, do not attempt to install this untether over that setup!  You will most likely get into a reboot cycle.  Do a sync and fresh restore to 5.0.1 then install the jailbreak + untether.

1. Download Redsn0w 0.9.10b1 (Windows – Mac OS X).
2. Download iOS 5.0.1 stock firmware from here.
3. Download iTunes from here.

Steps

STEP 1: Backup your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and restore it using the iOS 5.0.1 IPSW file downloaded above.
STEP 2: Open Redsn0w you already downloaded, select “Extras” then “Select IPSW” and browse for the iOS 5.0.1 IPSW file.

STEP 3: Now click on “Jailbreak” then “Install Cydia”.

STEP 4: You’ll need to follow the on-screen instructions to get your device into DFU mode (for newbies, follow our guide posted here).

STEP 5: Once done, your device will be rebooted and you’ll get a full untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1.

How To Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Using “Corona 5.0.1 Untether” Cydia Tweak (VIDEO)

As reported few minutes ago, the much-waited untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 has been released based on pod2g’s discovered exploit. Since the links for Redsn0w and GreenPois0n jailbreak tools are not ready yet, there’s an alternate method to do the untethered jailbreak. You can currently use a new jailbreak tool available in Cydia named “Corona” to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 untethered. Below we’ll show you how.

P0sixninja, the brain member of the Chronic Dev Team, developed a Cydia tweak called “Corona” and uploaded it Cydia for users who already have a tethered jailbreak on iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1.
You’ll need to do a tethered jailbreak first using previous redsn0w version. You can follow our guide posted here to do a tethered jailbreak on your A4 device running iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.

How To Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Untethered

STEP 1: Assuming your device is already jailbroken, head to Cydia and leave it till the update is finished.
STEP 2: Once updated, search for “Corona 5.0.1 Untether” under BigBoss repository and you’ll be able to download it for free by hitting the “Install” button on the top right of screen.

Once done, you’ll need to reboot your device and get your untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1.

How To Jailbreak iPhone 4S, iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 On Windows With CLI (GUIDE)

As most of you know, the Chronic Dev Team released a new jailbreak tool known as GreenPois0n Absinthe to jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running on iOS 5.0.1. However, the tool is available for Mac OS X users only. That’s why the iPhone Dev Team released a new tool called CLI (Command Link) for both Windows and Mac OS X to allow both Windows and Mac OS X users to do their jailbreak.

The newly released Apple’s handset, the iPhone 4S, can be jailbroken on both iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 firmware untethered. On the other hand, the iPad 2 can only be untethered jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1.
Before you start, make sure that you have updated your device and created a backup so that you can restore your apps, photos, media, contacts and everything. Also unlock your device by typing the passcode if necessary.
STEP 1: Download CLI Absinthe for Windows and Mac OS X from here.
STEP 2: Unzip the folder named cinject_0.4.3 into the system folder, i.e. C:\.
STEP 3: Now go to the start menu, click on run and type in cmd.exe.

STEP 4: In the command window, type: CD C:\cinject_0.4.3 as shown to get into the required folder.

STEP 5: You’ll now need to execute CLI. Do this by typing: cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig.

STEP 6: Now execute cinject.exe -j payloads and wait for the backup.
STEP 7: Finally execute the command cinject.exe -w.
STEP 8: Get in your device and tap on Absinthe icon to get your jailbreak done in few minutes.
Errors:

• For FATAL(_LINE_) error, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings. Then do the procedure all over again.
• For Camera Roll error, use this guide posted here.
• For error establishing database connection, use the guide posted here.

Hot on the heels of Greenpoison`s Absinthe, the infamous Dev Team has just released the promised CLI jailbreak tool which supports both iPhone 4S and iPad 2. It`s an alternative for Absinthe and it`s still available for Mac users only. Like we said before, CLI helps the Dev Team track bugs and issues.

Again guys, CLI is not like RedSnow and the like jailbreak tool we have all got accustomed too. It stands for Command Line Interface meaning it`s not going to be a one-click to jailbreak process. So, if you are not up to it, better stick to Absinthe.

Cara Membuat Koneksi Peer To Peer

Berhubung kemarin ada yang bertanya ke pada saya lewat email tentang koneksi peer to peer atau menghubungkan dua komputer tanpa melalui via hub/switch makanya saya mencoba menulis tutorialnya hari ini, walaupun saya sudah tau sebenarnya sudah banyak para blogger yang menulis tentang koneksi peer to peer ini.

Pertama saya akan menjelaskan terlebih dahulu tentang dua hal, seperti jenis kabel yang digunakan dan TCP/IP.

1. Jenis Kabel yang digunakan

Untuk menghubungkan dua komputer tanpa melalui hub/switch, kabel yang harus kita pakai adalah cable dengan model cross (kabel nya tetap pakai kabel UTP hanya susunan kabel nya yang dibedakan).

Dalam jaringan ada dua macam jenis susunan kabel yang digunakan secara umum yaitu cross dan straight.

Kabel Straight memiliki urutan kabel yang sama pada kedua ujungnya, biasanya digunakan untuk menghubungkan dua device atau hardware yang berbeda. Misalnya : NIC ( PC) ke Switch, NIC ke Printer, NIC ke Modem, Switch ke Printer.

Kabel Cross menggunakan susunan kabel pada ujung pertama sama dengan susunan standar T-568B (standar Asia) tetapi pada ujung ke 2 susunan nya ditukar dengan metode 1 ke 3 dan 2 ke 6. Maksudnya, kabel no 1 pada ujung 1 menjadi kabel no 3 pada ujung 2 dan kabel no 2 pada ujung no 1 menjadi kabel no 6 pada ujung ke 2. untuk penggunaannya, kabel cross biasanya digunakan untuk menghubungkan dua hardware yang sama, misalnya : Hub ke Hub, NIC ke NIC (PC ke PC). Jadi dalam tutorial saya kali ini yaitu menghubungkan dua komputer tanpa melalui hub/switch, jenis kabel ini yang kita pakai.


Sebagai tambahan, untuk switch ke switch dapat menggunakan kabel model apa saja, Bisa cross maupun straight, kaena fungsi switch adalah alat untuk menyilangkan, maka tidak perlu lagi kita menyilangkan kabelnya, secara otomatis switch dapat menyilangkan koneksi kabel nya sendiri.

2. TCP/IP

Untuk menghubungkan dua komputer yang harus kita butuhkan selain jenis kabel adalah TCP/IP. TCP/IP adalah penamaan komputer dalam jaringan dengan angka yang unik. Di sebut unik karena, secara dsar agar komputer-komputer dalam sebuah jaringan dapat saling berhubungan satu sama lain, tidak boleh ada dua atau lebih komputer yang memiliki nomor IP yang sama dan harus pada network yang sama. Dalam tutorial ini saya akan menggunakan IP standar (Private address) yang sering digunakan yaitu Network ID 192.168.1.0 dan Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 (masuk dalam kategori C)

Mari kita mulai langkah-langkah menghubungkan dua komputer tanpa menggunakan hub/switch.(Disini hanya saya terangkan bagaimana menghubungkan kedua komputer saja, tidak sampai bagaimana terkoneksi internet)

1. Pertama tentunya harus sudah ada 2 (dua) komputer dan pastikan bahwa kedua komputer tersebut memiliki NIC atau Lan Card, kemudian buatlah kabel dengan susunan cross ( Lihat gambar kabel cross di atas ), RG-45 dan Tang crimping untuk menyatukan kabel dan RG-45.



2. Bila sudah selesai, tancapkan masing-masing ujung kabel cross, ke NIC pada komputer (ujung 1 ke komputer 1, ujung 2 ke komputer 2)
3. nyalakan kedua komputer dan masuk ke windows (disini menggunakan windows XP yah). kemudian untuk memberikan IP, masuk ke START - CONTROL PANEL - NETWORK CONNECTION. Lalu klik dua kali icon Local Area Connection kamu.

Akan muncul Local Area Connection Status, lalu klik Properti. Akan muncul seperti gambar di bawah, klik dua kali Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).


Lalu isi pada kolom IP Address dan subnet mask. Disini saya akan menggunakan IP 192.168.1.1 dan 192.168.1.2 dengan subnet mask default yaitu 255.255.255.0.

Pada komputer pertama isikan IP address : 192.168.1.1 , Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Pada komputer kedua isikan IP address : 192.168.1.1 , Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

lalu klik OK - OK - Close.

Untuk konfigurasi telah selesai, sekarang tinggal mengecek apakah koneksi telah tersambung dengan benar. Caranya : Buka menu RUN (start -Run).

ketikkan pada kolom Run "Ping 192.168.1.2 -t" tanpa tanda kutip dari komputer pertama
atau
ketikkan pada kolom Run "Ping 192.168.1.1 -t" tanpa tanda kutip dari komputer kedua.

Intinya ketik PING lalu nomer ip komputer yang mau dicek koneksi nya ke komputer kita. "-t" di dalam perintah diatas adalah agar perintah ping ping dilakukan secara terus menerus tanpa berhenti hingga kita menutup jendela command prompt.

Bila koneksi tersambung maka akan terlihat tulisan reply to 192.168.xxxx Seperti gambar di bawah, bila belum tersambung maka akan muncul tulisan Request time out.

Nah bila sudah muncul tulisan seperti diatas artinya kedua komputer sudah tersambung dan dapat berbagi file atau sharing. Bila masih Request time out atau RTO, coba cek kabel dengan kabel tester apakah urutan kabel telah benar, lalu cek konfigurasi IP apakah ada yang salah atau tidak.
